iCarly

I made these cake balls for an iCarly birthday party for a 5 year old. They served them to the adults and the kids had cupcakes. Cute idea!

Ice Cream Sundae Cake Balls

Avery's 4th birthday party has an Ice Cream Sundae theme (which is perfect for the 103 degree weather we are having). I made these cake balls to go along with the theme of the party. I used chocolate, strawberry, and lemon cake and coated them in white or slightly pink icing to reflect different flavors of ice cream. Then I topped it with chocolate almond bark, white almond bark and then a red m&m to represent the cherry on top.

I made 100 total cake balls for the party so we mixed it up a little by having several different kinds of ice cream, a 4 to represent her age, A for Avery and K for Kendel (Avery's best friend who is celebrating her 4th birthday together with Avery).

I had a lot of fun making these, even though they were pretty time consuming. I love that they go perfectly with the theme.

Birthday Party and Christmas Experiments

These dinosaur cake balls are for a little boy's first birthday party. They are double chocolate (a fan favorite) with sugar dinosaurs on top.

Since I had a few cake balls left over after making Dylan's birthday cake balls, I decided to experiment with some Christmas designs. Here's my first pass at making reindeer. There is room for improvement, but they are pretty cute little guys.

All wrapped up and ready to give Avery's teachers and my friends that I am meeting for lunch tomorrow. What a great treat!
